About Us
The 24-acre homestead is made possible thanks to the Cochise County Owner Opt-Out and is a lab for all things sustainable building. With the core principles of live simple. Live sustainably. Live within your means. We create an environment to educate and explore healthy ways of living that work with the earth instead of against it.

Live Simple Do What You Love
The dream of Terraform Together began in 2013 after discovering a couple who built their own tiny home for $22,000. The seed of sustainable living was planted and founder, Richard Ward, was hooked. After building his first home in 2015, Richard traveled the country exhibiting his home and sharing the simple living movement with thousands of people. In January of 2020, Richard purchased 24 acres in southern Arizona and has turned it into an oasis of learning and experimentation. Over the last 8 years, Richard’s involvement in the world of sustainable living has expanded and his passion for sustainable living has grown exponentially.

Media Coverage
Terraform Together get around. Along with being featured on HGTV’s “Tiny House Hunters”, Terraform has been covered by The Dallas Morning News, NBC and many blogs and websites.
Richard Ward of Terraform Tiny Homes has built and lived in three different Tiny Homes named T1, T2, and T3. These include a converted Honda element, a very small tiny house built on a converted boat trailer, and a full-size gooseneck tiny house. Richard’s homes are really well thought out, and he actually practices the tiny lifestyle that he helps others achieve.
